The University Library

The core mission of the University Library of J. Selye University is to support pedagogical process and scientific works of pedagogical staff, university students and users from other institutions with publications and information.

Specialized main tasks of the University Library are aimed at:

1. regular additional and bibliographic processing of documents,
2. offering reference and information services,
3. retrieval and reprographic services,
4. protection of the library collection,
5. providing access to licensed electronic resources,
6. interlibrary loan services,
7. lending e-book readers,
8. providing access to the theses of the university,
9. bibliographic registration for Evidence of Publishing Activities.

The library collection is oriented at documents on economics, theology, pedagogical subjects (biology, chemics, english language and literature, german language and literature, history, modern philology, slovak language and literature, nursery school activities) connected to the study programmes of the university. The University Library´s collection comprise over 100 000 volumes.
