Visit of School Principals to J. Selye University
On December 11, 2024, J. Selye University welcomed 49 school principals from the North Budapest School District. Ms. Ilona Tamás, the district director, and Dr. Mihály Nánay, an associate professor at the Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest, led the delegation.
Dr. habil. PaedDr. Melinda Nagy, PhD., Vice-Rector of J. Selye University, welcomed the guests and presented the university, its activities, and its quality assurance system. In her speech, she also emphasized the key objectives of the education reform in Slovakia and introduced selected current research topics and projects of the Faculty of Education at J. Selye University. As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Selye Memorial Room, dedicated to the life and work of the renowned scientist János Selye, the creator of the stress theory.
The event focused on strengthening relationships between schools and the university and showcasing the opportunities offered by the university and the city of Komárno. J. Selye University expresses gratitude for the visit and believes this meeting will lay the foundation for further successful collaborations.
